Résumé The purpose of these Rules is to ensure that fresh and processed bivalve molluscs intended for export are handled and processed at all stages of production, storage and transport under proper hygienic conditions so as to meet health requirements and standard specifications prescribed by the Central Government. A Health or Veterinary Certificate shall be issued by the competent authority to exporters of bivalve molluscs which have been processed in approved establishments and which satisfy the requirements of these Rules. The competent authority shall also establish periodic public health control and monitoring of production areas.
