Résumé This Presidential Decree approves the Regulation of the Forestry Development Institution (IDF). This Regulation, consisting of four Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution as a legal entity, entitled to support the formulation and implement the national forestry policy, fulfilling its objectives in forestry management, production, hunting and apiculture; undertake an extension of a forest management and qualified apiculture within forestry public and community spaces of the country; to ensure and monitor the implementation of the flora development projects outside of conservation areas; to monitor the execution of forest management plans, apiculture out of areas of forestry concession; to licensing activities of forestry and fauna exploration, through import and export of forestry and fauna products and by-products, according to the national legislation. This Institution, created to ensure the promotion, coordination and implementation of the policies drawn up in the following sectors: forestry, fauna, rural and technology transfer development.
