Résumé

These Regulations implement Council Directive 92/66/EEC introducing Community measures for the control of Newcastle Disease and provide for the application of control measures in the event of an outbreak of the disease. Measures prescribed by these Regulations include notification of disease, restrictions on premises on which disease is suspected, declaration of an infected place, establishment of protection and surveillance zones, slaughter of poultry and destruction of carcases and eggs on premises where disease exists, cleansing and disinfection of premises on which disease exists, declaration of infected area, vaccination of poultry and special measures for pigeons.
