Establishment of Statutory Measure: registration of producers and persons dealing with mohair in the course of trade (R. No. 834 of 2012).

This Statutory Measure, made by the Minister of Forestry and Fisheries under sections 13 and 19 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, requires producers, brokers, traders, buyers, processors, importers and exporters of mohair to register with the non-commercial organization Mohair SA so as to create a central database of names and contact details of individuals and organizations involved in the production, trading, processing and exporting of mohair.
