Résumé Article 4 lists the functions of the Ministry for the administration of this Act, including to promote and encourage the safe and efficient use of energy; to promote and encourage measures for conservation of all forms of energy; to monitor the costs of operation of products and their level of energy consumption and energy efficiency; and to promote energy efficiency through sustainable measures to save costs and monitor other adverse effects. The Chief Executive Officer may determine standards or adopt any standards from another country to be used, for the purpose of this Act. Furthermore, this Act provides for the registration of products, brands and models and the establishment of a register by the Chief Executive Officer.
