Résumé This Regulation applies within the scope of the Fuel Emissions Trading Act. For the 2021 and 2022 period, the obligations pursuant to Section 6 Paragraph 1 of the Fuel Emissions Trading Act to submit and approve a monitoring plan or a simplified monitoring plan no longer apply. The monitoring, determination and reporting of fuel emissions are subject to Section 3 of the Regulation according to which all quantities of carbon dioxide that can be released during the combustion of fuels are determined and should be reported by the responsible person. The person responsible is obliged to prove compliance with the sustainability requirements and to provide the emissions report. The Regulation also provides a formula on calculation of the reportable fuel emission. The Regulation consists of 4 Sections, 12 Articles and 3 Annexes. The Sections are as follow: General Rules (1); Monitoring Plan (2); Monitoring, investigation and fuel emissions reporting (3); Final provisions (4).
