Résumé

The present regulations provide for the enforcement of the Canada Agricultural Products Act. In particular, they lay down provisions relating to eggs. The regulations contain at the outset a definition clause referring to various terms therein employed, such as "adulterated", "Agency", "blood spot", "box", "handling", "carton", "case", "contaminated", "Director", "domestic hen", "dye marke", "food additive", "food colour", "lot", "processed eggs", "producer". The text consist of 38 sections divided into 6 Parts as follows: Grade names (I); Packing (II); Marking (III); Inspection and certification (IV); International and interprovincial trade (V); Seizure and detention (VI). Four Schedules are enclosed.
