Résumé

This Act prohibits the destruction of plants specified in the Schedule, for reasons other than horticultural husbandry. A Court may impose the obligation to pay compensation for plants destroyed under section 2. Such compensation shall be prescribed by the Commissioner responsible for matters relating to cocoa after consultation with the Commissioner for Lands and Natural Resources under section 3. Section 4 prohibits felling of timber trees on farms where specified plants are cultivated. Section 6 prescribes penalties. (7 sections)
