Résumé

This Regulation comprises 26 articles and establishes that the applications for subscription to drinking water and all other matters related to it shall be submitted in writing to the Secretary-General of the Water Authority according to the forms he decides for this purpose (art.3). These applications are not allowed for vacant lands, temporary installations, or for irrigation purposes. The Authority, according to the water-sharing agreement, shall install the meter in the location in the manner and conditions it deems appropriate. The subscriber shall be responsible for its protection and shall bear any expenses incurred by the Authority as a result of his failure to maintain it (art.6). A property may be supplied with water by only one household connection unless technical necessity requires otherwise (art.9). Article 12 deals with the cases for which the Authority can interrupt the supply of drinking water (fail in fails to payment or maintenance of the internal network, damages to the main network, sale of water or supplies, etc.). While Article 13 regards the case of permanent cancellation of the subscription by the Authority. Articles 14 - 16 concern fees and tariffs to be paid for the connection and the service. If the subscriber vacates the property, he must submit a request to cancel the subscription or transfer it to the new beneficiary after clearing his obligation of the water prices (art.18).
