Pays/Territoire Botswana Type du document Règlement Date 1941 (2008) Source FAO, FAOLEX Sujet Bétail Mot clé Parasites/maladies Commerce international Inspection Autorisation/permis Santé des animaux Aire géographique Afrique, Nations en développement sans littoral, Afrique Méridionale Résumé No person shall introduce into Botswana, except from the Republic of South Africa, any poultry unless such poultry is accompanied by: (a) a written permit by the Principal Veterinary Officer authorizing the introduction of such poultry; (b) a certificate, issued by a veterinarian authorized thereto by the Government of the country of origin, showing: (i) that poultry examined was found healthy and free from diseases specified in this provision; (ii) in the case of domestic fowl, the tuberculine test was carried out; (iii) in the case of turkeys, geese and ducks, that the premises where the poultry came from was free from tuberculosis; (iv) agglutination tests in respect of specified fowl and turkeys were carried out and found negative.
