The Minister, if he so thinks fit, may give public notice in such manner as he considers suitable of his intention to make an order under which a specified area will be a clearance area. An Amendment is made to the Dairy produce Act of 1924 relative to the pasteurising of separated milk. The Minister may set up and maintain a register of herds of cattle to be known as the Register of Accredited Herds (sect. 5). A person shall not: (a) hold out a herd of cattle as being an accredited herd unless it is registered in the register, or (b) hold out cattle as being of an accredited herd unless they are of a herd registered in the register.
