It also provides for matters relating to the payment of compensation for cattle which are slaughtered as having been affected or suspected of having been affected with bovine leukosis. Article 3 provides for the notification of the disease to veterinaries in the public service. Articles 4 to 12 prescribe measures that public officers may take in order to prevent or reduce occurrence of the disease.
