The Decree enters into force on 15 May 2002.

Résumé

This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture is composed of four articles and two Annexes and provides for the registration of national and imported food products. The registration location is the State Veterinary and Foodstuffs Administration of the Slovak Republic located in Bratislava, which registers producers and importers and provides information on selected products. The register of produced and imported foodstuffs contains: (i) the commercial name or first name and surname of the producer; (ii) the location of the company; (iii) the identifier of the organization; (iv) registration number of the producer or importer; (v) the product category; (vi) the commercial name of products; (vii) the product description; (viii) the country of export; (ix) the destination place; (x) the quality control method.
