Entry into force notes: This Decree enters into force on 1 November 2012.

Résumé: This Decree of the Ministry of Agriculture, which is composed of 43 articles and 12 Annexes, lays down animal health requirements for the environment where animals are kept, on care for animals and their protection against infections and diseases transmitted from animals to humans, as well as details on placing animals on the market. Furthermore, the present Decree establishes provisions on professional veterinary practices and procedures for cleaning and disinfection of vehicles used to transport animals and requirements to prevent infections and their spread during the transport of animals.
