Entry into force notes: This Decree enters into force on 28 April 1997.

Résumé: These Regulations concern temporary permits pursuant to article 2 of EC Commission Regulation 194/97. The maximum limits for nitrate concern fresh salad and spinach. Recommendations, further indications, requirements concerning proper production practice and directions regarding lower nitrate content may be issued by the Food Agency and the Agricultural Research Centre (sect. 3). Control shall be carried out by the Food Agency (sect. 4).
