The Ministerial Decree provides for restriction in the use of ramin wood and prohibits holder of forest concession rights and timber utilisation permits from cutting ramin wood under defined circumstances. The Decree describes in the appendix an inventory of ramin wood to be used for domestic or export needs. The Decree concerns the issuance of permits for distribution, utilisation and transport of ramin wood in compliance with the provisions of CITES.
