The baselines are defined in Schedule I to this Decree. Borders of waters dividing Kampuchea and Thailand are also defined. A contiguous zone of twelve nautical miles beyond and adjacent the Territorial Sea is created as well as a EEZ of two hundred nautical miles measured from the outer limits of the Territorial Sea. Kampuchea has sovereign rights over the exploration and exploitation and the preservation and management of all organic or inorganic natural resources of the seabed, of its subsoil and of the waters above it and over other activities leading to the exploration and exploitation of its exclusive economic zone. The continental shelf of the People's Republic of Kampuchea comprises the seabed and the subsoil of the submarine areas that extend beyond the Territorial Waters throughout the natural prolongation of its land territory to a distance of 200 nautical miles from the baseline used to measure the width of the Territorial Waters.
