Résumé This Decree consisting of 5 articles aims at delineating the division of Lebanese maritime waters (including regional waters and the Exclusive Economic Zone as defined by Decree 6433/2011) into 10 blocks. The Decree provides also for a buffer zone where petroleum activities are not allowed without a decree issued by the Council of Ministers. The buffer zone extends along the borders of the Lebanese coast from the far north to the far south for a distance of 3 nautical miles of the territorial waters.
