Résumé

President of the Republic of Daghestan decrees to authorize the following types of hunting: (a) commercial hunting; (b) artisanal and sport hunting; (c) hunting for scientific research and educational purposes; (d) hunting for the regulation of the number of game; (e) hunting for acclimatization, repopulation and hybridization of game; and (f) hunting for the purpose of captive or semi-captive breeding or keeping wild fauna species in artificial environment. Hunting restrictions and prohibition can be imposed on the regional territory by agreement with the authorized federal institution in the sphere of supervision, protection, management and reproduction of wild fauna species. If a dead animal (animals) or its (their) remains are found in hunting grounds showing signs of injuries, diseases, or if animals are killed for unknown reasons, the hunter must report this fact to the executive authority of the Republic of Daghestan that carries out federal state hunting and veterinary supervision. Unauthorized removal and transfer of dead animals from sites of detection is prohibited. When performing collective hunting, it is not allowed to leave the places previously determined by the person responsible for conducting collective hunting (shooting numbers) without the oral permission of such a person. In the case of shooting wild fauna species under the age of one year under a permit issued for hunting of an adult animal of this species, hunting permit shall be marked and it shall be considered completed. In the process of hunting for bears, if the animal is injured it must be finished off within two days, not counting the day of injury. Hunting for fur-bearing wild fauna species shall be performed by methods that exclude harm to other wild fauna species and the deterioration of their habitat. This Presidential Decree establishes authorized hunting periods for mammals and birds.
