The programme measures proposed consist of dike protection, regulation of water levels, flood emergency alarms, diversion of water into other rivers, use of flood slowing areas. the Regulation also defines the tasks of the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Combat and other public bodies.
