This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Résumé

This Decree, consisting of 12 articles, re-organizes the State Council for Family Farming Development (CEDAF/SP). CEDAF/SP, established by Decree No. 53.623 of 30 October 2008, is reorganized under the terms of this Decree. The CEDAF/SP aims to propose guidelines for the formulation of public policies, constituting a space of articulation between different levels of government and civil society organizations, coordinating, evaluating, analyzing, and executing actions. It also aims at conducting follow-up at the state level for any actions related to sustainable rural development, implementation of family farming and agrarian reform programmes. The CEDAF/SP is responsible for: articulate, propose, and analyze the adequacy of public policies at federal, state and municipal levels, in relation to family farming, reordering the agrarian development and agrarian reform with the objective of promoting sustainable rural development in the State; monitor, analyze, evaluate and participate in the deliberative process of guidelines and procedures of public policies related to sustainable rural development and the execution of programs to support family agriculture; propose public policies aimed at harmonizing efforts and actions to stimulate the development of family agribusiness; stimulate the expansion and improvement of mechanisms of social participation and control, aiming at strengthening the sustainable rural development of family agriculture and agrarian reform, etc.
