Résumé This Decree, consisting of 9 articles, creates the Marine Islands Protected Area and protected marine coastal areas within the State of São Paulo. It regulates conservation and protecting measures to be applied within these marine areas and establishes environmental requirements to be satisfied in order to perform sustainable development activities within these islands and marine coastal areas of the State.
