Résumé This Decree establishes that national biological reserve “Buslovka” shall be set up in the Brest province with a view of conservation in the natural state of unique natural complexes and ecosystems of the lake-alluvial lowland, wild fauna and wild flora species pertaining to rare and endangered species inserted in the Red Book of protected species, and also natural habitats thereof. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of national biological reserve “Buslovka”: (a) hydrotechnical land reclamation entailing modification of the existing hydrological regime except for repair and maintenance work of the existing land reclamation system; (b) exploration and mining; (c) waste disposal; (d) effluent waste water discharge to environment; (e) allotment of land plots for collective gardening and horticulture; (f) construction, except for construction of engineering and transport communications, parking for motor vehicles, boat berths, housing facilities for hunters and fishermen, facilities for forest management, tourist camps and ecological paths; (g) removal of vegetation and fertile soil layer; (h) accommodation of tent camps, other equipped areas and recreational areas, tourist camps, parking for motor vehicles outside areas established by local executive bodies; (i) making fires; (j) burning of logging residues in the process of logging operation and burning of vegetation; (k) application of chemical plant protection means; (l) procurement of wild plant species by individual entrepreneurs and legal persons; (m) ploughing up; (n) main use felling; and (0) introduction of alien flora and fauna species.
