Decree No. 382 of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures for efficient use of family farms in Surhandarya province”.

Prime Minister, with a view of increase of the amount of fruit and vegetable production, procurement, processing, storage and export thereof, and maintenance of stable prices on internal market, further improvement and more efficient use of the potential of family farms and income increase of rural population, determines the following the following priorities for newly constituted farms: (a) interaction between peasant farms; (b) provision of family farms with seeds, planting material and fertilizers; (c) procurement, processing, storage, picking, assortment, packaging and pre-export preparation of fruits and vegetables destined for external markets; and (d) construction of hothouses, orchard houses, cooling chambers and processing facilities.
