Decree No. 33/98 approving the Statute of the Public Port Agency of Namibe (Porto do Namibe-E.P.)

This Decree approves the Statute of the Public Port Agency of Namibe (Porto do Namibe-E.P.). The Statute, consisting of 8 Chapters, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Port Agency, entitled: to manage and promote activities within the harbour facilities, according to the National legislation on the public port domain; to coordinate and carry out inspections on the performed activities within the territory under its jurisdiction; to plan and promote the implementation of any port works and equipment; to propose to the competent authorities port taxes and tariffs related to the use of infrastructure, etc.
