Résumé This Decree validates the Regulation on the procedure for conducting veterinary and sanitary expertise of foodstuffs of animal origin and foodstuffs of plan origin sold in markets. It establishes the procedure for sampling required for the performance of veterinary and sanitary expertise. Foodstuffs of animal origin and foodstuffs of plant origin when sold in markets shall be subject to mandatory veterinary and sanitary expertise for the purpose of food quality and food safety control. Foodstuffs of animal origin, that have undergone veterinary and sanitary inspection outside the market, and those admitted to sale in market shall be subject to mandatory sanitary and veterinary inspection. For authorization for vending in market subject to prior veterinary and sanitary expertise shall be submitted for examination: (a) products of animal origin; (b) veterinary certificate; (c) certificate issued by local government attesting that foodstuffs of animal origin have been produced by natural person(s); and (d) carrier vehicle used for transportation of foodstuffs of animal origin to the market.
