Entry into force notes
This Decree enters into force on the day after its publication.
Résumé

This Decree, consisting of 5 Chapters, approves the Regulation of the Legal Regime of Land Registry (RRJCP), established by Decree-Law No. 29/2009. It aims at the fulfilling the objectives related to the univocal identification of buildings, by assigning a unique identification number of common use by the whole Public Administration, enabling the creation of single property information, unifying, in a single information system, the existing registration information, allowing the digital management of the registration. In addition, it ensures that the description of property registration is completed by a graphic in digital format, and ensuring access to information by the Public Administration, citizens and companies, in particular by electronic means and with the guarantee of the protection of personal data involved and regulating the classification of buildings, the registration holders and the execution and conservation of Land Registry. The Decree is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Classification of lands (Chap. II); Land Owners (Chap. III); Execution and Conservation of Land Registry (Chap. IV); Final Provisions (Chap. V).
