Entry into force notes
This Decree enters into force on the day of its publication.
Résumé

This Decree, consisting of 6 articles, creates the National Council of the Kimberley Process on precious metals and gems (CNPK), as a supervisory body for the implementation of the Kimberley Process. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Council CNPK, entitled to: decide on matters relating to the Kimberley Process Certification System; to approve the business and budget plans of the Kimberley Process Management Unit, on Precious Metals and Gems; to approve the reports prepared by the Kimberley Process Management Unit, on Precious Metals and Gems and direct their activities; etc. The CNPK aims to supervise the implementation of norms, processes and activities internationally adopted under Resolution No. 55/56 of 2000 of the United Nations General Assembly and other resolutions relating to the marketing of precious metals and gems.
