This Decree enters into force 90 days after its publication.
Résumé

This Decree approves the Regulation on the management of substances damaging the ozone layer under the Ministry for the Coordination of Environmental Action. The Regulation, consisting of 5 Chapters and 5 Annexes, specifies the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform any activity related with: import, export, transit and destroy of any substances that might damage the ozone layer in order to prevent or minimize the negative impact on the environment. It is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Authorities competent for the management of these substances (Chap. II); Import, export and transit of controlled substances (Chap. III); Recover, storage and transport of controlled substances (Chap. IV); Inspection and sanctions (Chap. V). Annexes list model forms, taxes and other requirements for controlled substances that might damage the ozone layer.
