First entry into force on 5 September 2014. The consolidated version entered into force on 1 April 2015.

Résumé

This Decree is divided into four chapters. Chapter I contains provisions regarding the national Water Management General Directorate which is a central budgetary authority supervised by the minister in charge of water affairs and lead by a director general. Chapter II determies the duties of territorial water directorates which are the prevention of damages caused by water, such as floods and other disasters, monitoring of waters and collection of data, maintenance of potable water stocks, certain tasks related to national and regional planning of water supply and waste water treatment, planning and implementation of investment projects using EU financial resources, supervision of the work of water companies, etc.
