Standardization No. 29:1999 concerning the Condensed Milk is to be adopted as a Lebanese Standardization and Metrology (art. 1). The results of examination and analysis issued by the Industrial Research Institute, Public Health Laboratories Department and the Agricultural Scientific Research Department shall be adopted (art. 2). The following requirements and conditions necessary for the Condensed Milk: field of application, definition, evaporated whole milk, evaporated skimmed milk, solids, additives, phosphates activity, lactic acid and lactate, characteristics, Physical and Chemical requirements, sanitary requirements, verifying analysis, analysis methods, sampling, packaging and transport, label and technical terms.
