Decree No. 136 of the National Statistics Committee validating the Instruction on calculation of environmental fees.

This Decree establishes the modalities of calculation of environmental fees in current and comparable prices. The aforesaid calculation shall be performed by the National Statistics Committee on annual basis. Environmental fees shall include: (a) expenditure for protection and rational management of surface waterbodies; (b) expenditure for protection and conservation of atmospheric air and ozone layer; (c) environmental protection against negative impact of waste; (d) maintenance of protected areas and national parks; (e) protection and reproduction of wild fauna species; (f) extinguishment and mitigation of the consequences of forest fires; (g) scientific research; (h) functioning of state environmental protection bodies; and (i) state environmental audit and environmental certification. The Decree contains calculation formula.
