Résumé This Decree establishes sanitary, epidemiological and hygienic requirements for bottled potable water destined for vending to consumers with a view of ensuring safety of bottled potable water. It shall not be applicable to bottled mineral water. Bottled potable water can contain natural mineral substances and naturally produced carbon dioxide; it shall not contain sugar nor food additives. Bottled potable water shall be classified in two categories: (a) completely safe complying with organoleptic qualities with stable high potable qualities; and (b) high quality potable water abstracted from springs protected against biological and chemical pollution.
