Decree No. 106 of the Cabinet of Ministers validating the Statute on transportation in inland waters.

This Decree regulates navigation in inland waterways. It establishes that the land under harbour facilities, waterways, power plants and waterworks shall be considered land pertaining to inland water transport. Dredging operations shall be conducted as necessary to promote the rational use and protection of water resources. All organizations responsible for power plants, dams or other waterworks shall be required to: (a) maintain established maximum and minimum water levels; and (b) ensure safe navigation for the entire navigation period. Fishing along the coastline in areas of navigation areas shall be authorized by agreement with the navigation regulatory authority.
