Résumé This Decree approves the Regulation on Plant Sanitary Protection within the State of Pará. This Regulation, consisting of 9 Chapters, establishes the sanitary requirements to be satisfied in order to perform plant protection, defines the objectives, prescribes offences and penalties for illegal activities and establishes the actions to be taken in order to perform the above mentioned Plant Sanitary Protection. It is divided as follows: Preliminary provisions (Chap. I); Technical and operational activities (Chap. II); Complementary Norms for agricultural products protection (Chap. III); Operation and control (Chap. IV); Resources and Financing (Chap. V); Inspection of agricultural products and inputs (Chap. VI); Protecting measures and Penalties (Chap. VII); Administrative proceedings and Resources (Chap. VIII); Final provisions(Chap. IX).
