Résumé This Decree regulates Environmental Law No. 261/91. It specifies the Regulation to be applied in order to implement the aforementioned Law and establishes the legal framework for the pollution control within the State of Tocantins. It consists of 7 parts and 1 annex concerning the requirements to be satisfied for obtaining a licence for performing potentially polluting activities. It is divided as follows: General provisions (Part 1); Licensing (2); Council for the Environmental Policy (3); Offence and penalties (4); Control (5); Administrative procedures (6); Final provisions (7).
