Résumé This Decree approves the Regulation of the State Secretariat for Social Development (SEDS). SEDS is responsible for: I – the formulation and execution of State public policies for: a) women; b) people with disabilities; c) promotion of racial equality; d) social and citizenship assistance; e) support for children, adolescents and young people; and f) the defense of sexual diversity; II – carry out activities to protect human rights; and III – articulation with the Union, other states, municipalities and society to establish guidelines and carry out actions and programmes in the areas of its competence.
