Amended annexes establish new standards, sanitary requirements to be met and sanitary controls to be carried out by the competent authority. Prohibitions and sanctions to be paid for illegal activity are specified in the text. Annexes list harmful organisms; specific requirements and sanitary conditions to be met by imported/exported plants, in particular vegetables and fruits.
