Résumé This Decree-Law, consisting of 3 Chapters and 12 Annexes, establishes sanitary requirements for agricultural products transport from Santo Antão island within the archipelago of Cape Verde. The aim of this Decree-Law is to specify quality control and safety standards in order to prevent plant pest diseases within the archipelago due to production and circulation of agricultural products originated in Santo Antão and destined (for a first phase) to the markets of the islands of Sal and Boavista. It is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap I); Phytosanitary requirements for agricultural products circulation (Chap II); Technical proceedings for inspection, packaging and transport (Chap III).
