Entry into force notes
This Decree-Law enters into force 90 days after its publication.
Résumé

This Decree-Law establishes a Fund for financial compensation to fishermen, which shall be governed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries. It consists of 16 articles defining the requirements to be satisfied (including a classification of adverse atmospheric conditions) in order to benefit from financial assistance, which shall be issued for guaranteeing the continuity of professional fishing activity incomes, in spite of atmospheric conditions. The Decree-Law establishes composition and competencies of the aforementioned institution.
