These shall accompany a vessel during its entire existence. The IMO identification number is formed by a prefix followed by a number of 7 digits. IMO identification number are Lloyd's Register numbers attributed by the General Direction of Harbours, Navigation and Maritime Transport (DGPNTM). Such identification number is obligatory for vessels exceeding gross tonnage of 100 tons and making international journeys. Texte intégral Portugais
