It consists of 18 articles and 1 Annex establishing competent veterinary authority, technical regulation in order to apply the Erradication Programme for the aforementioned animal disease (PET), etc. It specifies sanitary procedures to be applied within Portuguese territory, veterinary requirements to be met in order to manage and control the aforementioned activity, etc. Sanctions for offenders are established in the text. Annex establishes tuberculosis-free bovine standards.
