This Decree-Law enters into force within 30 days from the publication.

Résumé

This Decree-Law regulates production, import/export and use of veterinary immunological medicinal product. It consists of 13 chapters and 4 annexes establishing the requirements to be satisfied in order to perform the aforementioned activity within the territory of the Republic of Portugal. It is divided as follows: Definition of medicinal product and objectives (chap. 1); authorization of trade (chap. 2); Technical Commission entitled to carry out controls on this sector (chap. 3); Production and trade (chap. 4); Distribution (chap. 5); Information to be given (chap. 6); Management and use of this product (chap. 7); Labelling requirements (chap. 8); Advertisement (chap. 9); Laboratory tests (chap. 10); Fees (chap. 11); Controls and fines to be paid by offenders (chap. 12); Final provisions (chap. 13).
