Résumé This Law, consisting of four Chapters, regulates organization, competencies and functioning of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESA). This Council is the maximum consultation and advisory body on economic, social and environmental development and policies concerning Cape Verdean communities and regional development. It establishes also the composition of this Council, entitled to participate in the preparation of plans for economic and social development and repeals Act No. 89/IV/93 of 6 December, establishing the organization and functioning of the Council for Regional Affairs, and Decree-Law No. 35/93 of 21 June, which created the Council for Social Dialogue (CCS).
