Résumé

This Decree-Law is composed of 17 articles and two Annexes, divided into VI Chapters. It regulates the plantation of genetically modified varieties, with the aim of granting their coexistence with traditional varieties and with biological production. In particular, the Decree rules on: growing varieties’ requirements, competent authorities, and control as well as inspection procedures. Annex 1 provides technical norms for growing genetically modified varieties; Annex 2 contains the notification model to be used for growing genetically modified varieties.
