This Regulation enters into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Résumé

This Regulation consisting of 24 articles regulates the hunting in Abu Dhabi establishing the following (i) the responsible authority is the Environment Agency of Abu Dhabi (EAD); (ii) the EAD establishes the wild animals permitted to be hunted and the hunting seasons; (iii) rules for traditional hunting; (iv) areas for hunting and conditions for their license; (v) license applications; (vi) it is forbidden to do any work as a professional hunter and animal feeder unless authorized by the competent authority; (vii) conditions to be met by the hunter; (ix) competent Authority officials may enter and inspect hunting areas to ensure compliance with the legislation; (x) hunting is prohibited by any of the methods or using 25 instruments identified by art.19; and (xi) no live wildlife may be introduced into any hunting area or transferred from one to another.
