Résumé The special rules regarding the nature and size of the sanitary and hydrogeological protection zones are provided in the Annex, which is an integral part of this Decision. Technical documentation drawn up for the execution of catchments, constructions and installations intended for the centralized supply of potable/therapeutic mineral water or for the bottling of potable/natural mineral water also include the measures for the establishment of sanitary protection zones as a mandatory condition for obtaining the water management permit. The sanitary protection zones are established in the land at the latest with the commissioning of the respective catchments, constructions and installations, this being a mandatory condition for issuing the management authorization of waters. Hydrogeological protection perimeters are established around mineral water sources, lakes and therapeutic sludges with the approval of the National Sanitary protection zones are established around mineral water sources, lakes and therapeutic muds by order of the Minister of Health, with the approval of the National Agency for Mineral Resources. Shall be subject to subject to the provisions of the Special Norms regarding the nature and size of sanitary and hydrogeological protection zones the following objectives: (a) underground or surface water sources, as well as their related catchments used for the centralized supply of drinking water to the population, to economic agents in the food industry and pharmaceutical, or sanitary and socio-cultural units, the constructions and installations that are components of drinking water supply systems; (b) mineral water deposits and their associated catchments used for internal treatment or for bottling, therapeutic water bottling installations and sludge exploitation installations; (c) therapeutic lakes and sludges; and (d) underground or surface water intakes used for bottling drinking water, other than natural mineral water.
