Résumé The main objectives of the national target program on rural clean water and environmental sanitation are to: prioritize the supply of hygienic daily-life water to densely populated areas; upgrade and expand existing facilities; seek stable water sources for areas stricken by exceptional difficulties; minimize environmental pollution in trade villages, and food and foodstuff processing villages.
