Decision No. 2161/QD-TTg approving the master plan on development of tourism in Northern Central Vietnam through 2020, with a vision toward 2030.

This Decision approves the master plan on development of tourism in Northern Central Vietnam, including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thieu - Hue provinces through 2020, with a vision toward 2030. Its principal contents are: to realize general viewpoints of the strategy for and master plan on development of Vietnam's tourism through 2020, with a vision toward 2030, and add the following specific development viewpoints for Northern Central Vietnam: a) to develop tourism in the form of sightseeing and research of world heritages and cultural-historical relics; b) to regard intra-regional, inter-regional and international association and cooperation as important and constant activities for development of tourism in Northern Central Vietnam.
