Section 2 establishes that these Regulations apply to the transportation of dangerous goods within the Yukon on highways, as defined in the Highways Act, notwithstanding anything in the Federal Regulations to the contrary. The Regulations – consisting of 16 sections – deal with the following matters: adoption, deemed control, direction binding, application for permit for exemption, oral application, issuance of permit for exemption, effect, duration, certificates, certificates of designation, inspections, seizures and samples, and aid to interpretation.
